If a Completion Page is added to your lesson, kuraCloud will automatically copy all of the questions within that single lesson to a final page. When a students goes through the lesson, all of their answers will show up on the completion page. Students are able to review all of the questions they have been asked and make edits to their answers (except for any of their questions preceding a checkpoint) in one place. Students can download a copy of their report as a PDF or submit it directly to an instructor, if the Course Administrator has set this up. This section covers how to set up your Report settings and define where student reports should be sent.

Configuring report settings

For each course you must configure the Report Settings or – by default – the student will only be able to download their report as a PDF.

  • From the Course card, choose Settings (note: you will not be able to see the Settings option unless you have been added as Course Administrator to a particular course).
  • From the Settings card, select Report Settings.

  • If you leave the Email student reports option unchecked, students will only have the option to download their own report as a PDF. 
  • If you check the Email student reports option, students will have two options:
    • they can submit their reports directly to you (or another Course Administrator or Author) via email, or
    • they can download the report as a PDF themselves.

The Recipient field will automatically populate with your email address. You can freely edit this field and enter an alternative email address, although you are limited to one email address.


This shows the information that will be included in the report email subject line. The Subject field will show: {course} {lesson} {student name}. You may also edit this field. Click on Email substitution options to view the four substitution keys available to decide what information you'd like to be included.

Report options

Report pages are not sent automatically to the Course Administrator.

As a Course Administrator you can decide whether you'd like the students to:

  • download their report as a PDF, or
  • submit their report directly using the Submit option – with this option, the report is sent by email to a given email address.
